Near Kearney, Nebraska -- Ferruginous Hawk
Some members of the Big Bend Audubon Society (Kearney, NE) helped identify this hawk. Ferruginous Hawks are the largest buteo in North America with lengths up to 24 inches and wingspans up to 57 inches.
