Near Elm Creek, Nebraska -- Eastern Bluebird
At first glance, one might think this photo was taken in the winter. This photo was actually taken in an April snow storm. The budding lilac bush is a dead give away. True confession time: I opened up my kitchen window to photograph this Eastern Bluebird near my heated birdbath.
