near Elm Creek, Nebraska -- Sandhill Cranes
I am fortunate to have Sandhill Cranes near my home for several weeks during their Spring migration. Cranes are known to leap into the air and sometimes even "dance" with their mating partner. This crane appeared to be walking on air.
